Restoration of Palanga villa Anapilis and its adaptation for the society needs

The main objective of the project was the restoration of Palanga villa Anapilis and the adaptation of it for the needs of the society (culture, tourism, education, art, science and other). In order to achieve this goal there was planned to restore Palanga villa Anapilis. The situation of villa Anapilis didn\'t satisfy the conditions, which were necessary to implement activities of the museum. The situation could be described as follows: the premises were in a very poor condition, they were heated only during the events at winter time, the premises were not suitable to display and storage museum values. The restoration works were carried out by JSC Pamario restauratorius. After the restoration there was opened Palanga Museum of Resort (www.kurortomuziejus.lt). The museum was opened on 23 September 2016.
During the project there were organized two trainings: one-day practical and two-day theoretical and practical trainings for public about woodcarving. During the trainings were educated more than 30 interested parties.
